I was born in New York City, United States of America.

Where do you live now?

I live in Maryland.

Tell us what you like to do for fun.

I love to write. I love to travel. I love watching old movies (The Old Maid, Mildred Pierce the Great Lie, etc.), over and over again. I absolutely love sports (NY Yankees, Jets, of course) I love spending quality time with my loving husband, dearest friends and family.  In addition, I enjoy the theater and the ballet.

Name a few of your favorite authors.

Isabel Allende, Laura Esquivel, Gwendolyn Brooks, Langston Hughes, Margaret Walker, Eileen Goudge, to name a few.

Name a few of your favorite restaurants.

Nobu in Hawaii, Mamajuana Café in Secaucus, NJ, Black Salt in Washington, DC., Chez Foushee in Richmond, VA, to name a few.

What is your favorite date night food?

Sushi…especially unagi.

What would be your wish for the world today?

I wish for the world, a stronger and greater appreciation of respect…self-respect and respect for others.

What words of wisdom would you share with aspiring poets?

Write often…dream always.

What is the inspiration behind your poetry?

The sights and sounds of life…its trials, tribulations and triumphs.

How would you describe your style of poetry?

The style of everyday life and living experiences.

When an individual reads your poetry what do you want that person to come away with, thereafter?

A lasting vivid photograph of the story being told.

Lastly, how are you making a difference in the world?

I am making a difference in the world by my actions – volunteer work, philanthropy endeavors and of course, by living life to the fullest as a good human being.
